During the summer, the centre of Jesolo – especially Via Bafile and the surrounding area – turns every evening into a long pedestrian zone. Several kilometres with no traffic, perfect for walking among shops, restaurants and nightlife.
Period
The summer ZTL follows a fairly consistent schedule:
- from about May 22 to September 14
- active every day
Before the high season, there may be a few days with different (daytime) hours, but from late May onwards it runs regularly.
Opening hours
- active every evening from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am
During these hours:
- non-authorised vehicles cannot enter
- most of Via Bafile becomes fully pedestrian
- the whole area turns into one large evening promenade
It’s one of the longest pedestrian areas in Europe.
What happens during the day
During the day:
- traffic is normal
- access is free
- you can reach hotels without restrictions
The change happens in the evening, creating that typical Jesolo atmosphere.
Access rules
When the ZTL is active:
- only authorised vehicles can enter
- access is controlled
- hotel guests must follow specific rules if they are inside the zone
Some side streets of Via Bafile become two-way during ZTL hours to make exiting easier for authorised vehicles.
The key point for our guests
This is where our location makes a real difference.
Hotel Residence Mara is located right at the beginning of the pedestrian area.
